Sept' Concert A3 Poster.indd

15 Aug Fundraising Concert – 7.45pm – 19th September 2016 – Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Legend John Williams leads guitar-themed charity concert at St Mary’s Church… with his friend, composer Richard Harvey.

Stars of the classical world John Williams and Richard Harvey are long time supporters of a musical charity, the MAE Foundation, which brings musical fun and training to children in the grim and overcrowded refugee camps along Thailand’s border with Burma.

The evening concert – at St Mary’s Church, Old Amersham on 19 September – focuses on the guitar and related instruments like the mandolin and features a Latin-flavoured repertoire, with well known pieces from Italy, Spain and South America.

Expect dazzling virtuosity, pulsing rhythms and the sounds of sunshine. Absolutely all receipts will go to the charity, so why not turn a Monday evening in September into one to remember?

Tickets cost £24 and £16 and are available on the door or via this website.
